Leaking Again

Frustrated, so wrote this to AeroBed.

Hello,
I've had an AeroBed Original for a few months now and really enjoyed it compared to a traditional mattress. I first slept on one at the beginning of last summer, on a corporate retreat, and was surprised by how comfortable the bed was and easy to inflate with the built in pump.

Unfortunately my bed developed a leak about a month ago which I have been trying to patch. It is directly on the seam of one of the recessed squares, think you call this the Quadra Coil. As it is directly on the seam, where it appears the vinyl was sealed together, it has proved quite difficult to patch. I patched it three times using the included patch kit, each time a few days later the air finding a new way out around the patch I applied. A little over a week ago I went to Home Depot and purchased a vinyl patch kit, removed the previous patches I applied, and applied a quite large patch hoping it would help prevent the hole in the seem from growing as it already had. Unfortunately it once again only lasted for about a week, last night I once again woke up at 3am with the bed close to fully deflated. While it is quite easy to reach up and push the inflater button, I need to have this issue resolved as I believe I have more than tried patching the bed a reasonable number of times.

I really like the product your company develops, and am intrigued by the other models you offer as well, but currently am disappointed in the construction my bed in regards to this seam.

Thanks,
David Recordon

Having gone though a few blow up ..er.. beds, cheap Ikea mattresses, etc.. eventually you'll end up spending >$1k for a nice mattress, it's a totaly rip off, but not much choice.

I actually really like this bed when it stays inflated, I've always enjoyed a soft mattress.

Figured it sounded better than "week of drunkenness with people who volunteer to look at inappropriate content in their free time on the site I work for".

Dear Aerobed,

I'd like to report a fault in your design. You see, when i'm plowin all the biotches, it seems that my bed tends to deflate. Now usually this isnt a problem, since I can just flip the whore around and mine her woman-shaft on all fours, but lately its been happening more often. Can you advise on how I can prevent this from happening? I'm tired of having to reinflate my bed during a good cleanin of her hatchet wound.

Thanks
D-Reezy.
