Dear David,

We're sorry you ran into trouble with your iTunes Music Store purchase. To purchase music on the iTunes Music Store, you need to refresh your account information in your user profile. We'll walk you through this process to get you back up and running in no time.

1. Using your web browser, go to http://myinfo.apple.com.

2. Select your country and preferred language from the drop down menus.

3. Enter your iTunes account name and password.

4. Click Continue.

5. On the "My Account Profile" page, make sure that the appropriate state is selected in the “Choose a state” field on both your billing and shipping address.

6. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

If this issue persists, you may wish to try using a different credit card, or you can buy music using an iTunes Music Card.

iTunes Music Cards can be purchased at retailers across the United States, including Apple Retail Stores, Apple Online Store, and other major retailers.

I'm sorry, but telling me to go to a brick and mortar retail store to buy an iTunes gift card is a completely unacceptable solution to this problem. I've had this ticket open for two months and there seems to have been no resolution on the matter.

I tried logging into My Info, it had correct information, saving it, and yet the problem still persists. I want to give your company money, I want to download music legally, but the error does not say my Credit Card is being declined or I have an AVS error. I will not use a different card, nor do I believe it will solve the problem, and I most certainly will not purchase a gift card to buy from an online store. I like the fact that I can buy a few songs a week and be charged just that amount.

I expect more from Apple Customer Service, I know you guys kick ass, I'm just getting the feeling that this issue will never be resolved.
