It surprises me, but dial-up networking via Bluetooth between my ThinkPad and Treo actually works! Beats paying for wireless at airports; I just hate paying at airports since it should be free!

Didn't you have this working like forever ago for your T-Mobile cell phone? Is it appreciably harder with a Treo?

Ever notice that $15 - $40 "airport surcharge" on all your plane tickets? That shit should be free.

If Portland can do it, why can't others? The airports make money on every ticket, every arrival and departure, and each gate.

The money shot with this setup is road trips. Nothing cooler (as technology goes) than IMing from Death Valley at 80mph.
