Plone 3.0 Adds OpenID Support

Seems to be the day of OpenID news, though I promise to blog about something other than OpenID or travel one of these days...

From http://lists.iwantmyopenid.org/pipermail/bounty/2007-May/000018.html:

This week saw the beta 3 release of Plone 3, where users (among lots of new, shiny things) can click a checkbox to enable OpenID login support for their site.

The implementation is based on the python-openid packages (currently using the 2.0 RC), and implemented by Wichert Akkerman on behalf of the Plone Foundation.
