So I'm 21 in a few hours, this is the first time in my life I feel like I'm getting old. Guess I still have 25 to look forward to when car insurance becomes cheaper. If you're in town, you're invited to join for dinner and drinks tomorrow night. Not sure where we're going, but I think a group will leave from Six Apart for dinner so let me know if you want to join and I'll make sure to let you know where we end up. Could also follow my Twitter and find out that way.

Lots of cool coverage of VeriSign's OpenID Provider around security this week and an Information Week article about OpenID:
- Security Now podcast - PIP & More Perfect Passwords
- More on VeriSign PIP OpenID
- Update of Personal Identity Provider (PIP) from VeriSign
- Paypal + Verisign PiP Token

Working to re-factor the graph code I've been working on. Goal is to have some pretty cool stuff to show at the DataSharingSummit this Friday/Saturday!

Good weekend with BBQ at scsi's yesterday and then general relaxing today with my roommate unpacking his stuff which includes a handmade clay FireFox logo and Tux painting. My new Roomba 560 arrived today which is totally awesome!

Dear Son,
As you are now 21, I must say (and I'm sure I speak for your "father" as well), Happy Birthday. On behalf of myself, your cooking skills with alcohol (think st. patrick's day at will's) still leave me in a shudder. However, I miss you. I miss the days of easier times, more heartbreaks, and general good times with "power hours" and horrible movies chosen by myself.

So, for your next 21, I wish you love, health, happiness, craziness, adventure, and endless possibility.

Love always

Bad news... Car insurance never gets cheaper, it just stabilizes.

Unless you get married. But what kind of freak gets married for cheaper car insurance?

Happy Birthday. :)

Question of Identity Scheme
Hi.
I'm Hyung-Sop Song engineer charging in designing network architecture in SAMSUNG Electronics.
Very glad to see you, even in this e-mail.

I know that you have been come to korean to presentation of Open ID at Ahn. LAB. in July, 2007.
Also I know that you are leading the open ID specification in substance.

I'm very interested in Open ID. But, actually I'm poor to understand Open-ID perfectly until now.

I have a question.
If the Open ID identitity scheme is changed from URL form into URI form (such as E-mail scheme, abc@samsung.com), what are affect to Open ID mechanism (or specification).
Also, Can Open ID specification be modified to adopt URI ?

I think that there is no matter in adopting URI form at OPEN ID. Open ID is just indication that identifies the user. So, I think that OPEN ID also can be URI form. (Of course, for adopting SIP URI, there is need to change some specification such as, yadis protocol...)

I very wonder how do you think about this my opinion and proposal.
May I receivce your response about this e-mail in detail ?
I wish that you give me a response and have a nice day :)
