While I haven't finished college, so maybe they would have taught these things later...or not, Guy Kawasaki talks about twelve things he found colleges don't teach to prepare students for working. http://blog.guykawasaki.com/2006/08/ten _things_to_l.html
Just finished my 20 slide presentation on terrorist attacks against the US since 1975 for a class I'm taking this quarter. Needs a bibliography, though I hate putting a huge list of links as part of a presenation.

bleh, school sucks. Writing far more about terrorism than I think I ever wanted to. Here, learn the history of biological terrorism in one paragraph:
Starting in medieval times, plague infested bodies would be catapulted over walls into enemy forts and castles to cause the spread of disease. During our Civil War, Confederate troops would place livestock corpses in lakes to contaminate the water supply and thus delay Union troops. World War II introduced the first formal laboratories for biological weapon research. Japan conducted tests on prisoners of war where they would be exposed to anthrax and then dissected to study the effects. Japan also used the bubonic plague and cholera on the Chinese and by the end of the war the U.S. introduced its own biological warfare program in 1943. This continued until 1969 when President Nixon ordered the stop to development of offensive biological weapons and started the destruction of U.S. stockpiles in 1971. Despite a treaty in 1972, which prohibited the stockpiling of offensive biological weapons, many countries today still have biological agents.
Three classes look decent for next quarter. Not sure if I want to take three classes though. I'll have to see if I can convince them to let me into the project management one, although it looks like I meet the prereqs.

After 30 minutes I'm 14 questions through a 20 question midterm that is supposed to take 1.5 hours that the teacher is giving us 4.5 hours to do. I think I'll actually get an A out of this course. :P
