With Chris Messina sharing some of his thoughts on Facebook's notion of "dynamic privacy", it seems worth pointing out that Facebook is still blocking Google FriendConnect after they started blocking it back in May. FriendConnect from Google now displays "[Facebook button] - Disabled by Facebook" and also gives you the ability to choose your privacy settings for each site you're sharing with.

With Facebook talking so much about Facebook Connect here at Graphing Social Patterns I'm wondering how they're actually going to make this stuff work; as Messina ended his post with, "it’s disheartening that Facebook’s 'Open' strategy is anything but open, and everything less than transparent."

Noticed this thanks to the post by Joseph Smarr of Plaxo about Plaxo's new integration with Google FriendConnect.
